PROFINET RJ45 connector with optimized fast connection
The new PROFINET-QUICKON connector is an optimized version of the QUICKON fast connection system, which has already enjoyed market success.
Wiring forces have undergone yet more drastic improvement. The connector provides a quick and reliable means of connecting four AWG22 wires in compliance with the guideline issued by the PROFIBUS User Organization (PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation or PNO for short) for setting up PROFINET topologies.
Tools are not required for assembly using insulation displacement. The wires are simply inserted in the chambers, pressed into the blades with the sealing cap, and the connection is complete.
Mounting in difficult site conditions is made very easy as the connector is supplied pre-assembled.
The PROFINET-QUICKON connector makes problems typically associated with other commercial connectors, such as the positioning or loss of small parts, a thing of the past.
